What is the tube that passes urine to outside of the body?

The urethra is the tube that carries urine from the bladder out of the body. The internal urethral sphincter prevents urine from leaving the bladder to enter the urethra. It is controlled by involuntary system. The external urethral sphincter is under voluntary control.
