Solution
In an electric bulb, the filament of the bulb is connected with lead supports and this lead support is connected with another glass support.
The glass support is given because the filament has high resistivity and a lot of heat is generated when the current will flow in the filament.
Because glass has low thermal conductivity.
If there would be no glass inside the glass then the cylindrical portion of the glass can attain a very high temperature resulting in damage to the circuit.
So, a glass bulb is a must inside the electric bulb.
