The epididymis is a comma-shaped organ formed about a six-meter long highly convoluted tube lying along the upper, lower, and inner sides of the testis, lined with pseudostratified epithelium.
Functions:
It serves as a duct for the passage of sperm from the testis to vas-deferens.
It stores sperm prior to ejaculation which makes the sperm motile and mature.
Sperm mature during their passage through epididymis.
