Friction factor for turbulent flow in rough pipe is given by

1f=2log(RK)+1.74

where R= Radius of Pipe =d2=25 cm

1f=2log(250.25)+1.74

=2log(100)+1.74

=2log(10)2+1.74

=2×2×1+1.74=5.74
