Diameter of pipe = 30 cm
Spacing 80 cm c/c
For group action of piles, minimum spacing required =2.5D=2.5×30=75 cm
Hence negative skin friction of group is to be calculated
Assuming 4 number of piles
Neglecting point bearing capacity
Qg(u)=α.C.Pg.D
For cohesive soil, assuming α=1
Given, C=25 kN/m2
Pg=Perimeter of block =4×110 cm
Depth of block = 5 m
Qg(u)=1.0×25×(4×110100×5)=550 kN
