What is the value of resistance offered by capacitor?

Capacitive reactance in circuit is resistance offered by capacitor in circuit
$X_c=\frac{1}{wC}$ I) where Xc is capacitive reactance, w is angular frequency and C is capacitance of capacitor
In DC circuit,
w = 0
Hence, Xc = infinite, so in case of DC circuit resistance offered by capacitor is infinite
In AC circuit, Cacitive reactance is reciprocal of product of angular frequency and Capacitance as shown in I)
