The correct option is A 0.9 mol
Since most of the options are in moles, let us calculate the value of 'x' in terms of mole.

9.4 gm phenol = 9.494 = 0.1 mol
6.023 × 1023 molecules of phenol = 6.023×10236.023×1023 = 1 mol
Then, we subtract 0.2 mol phenol:
Hence 'x' = 0.1 + 1 0.2 = 0.9 mol phenol
