What is the working of ciliary muscles to change the focal length of a convex mirror in our eyes? Please explain in simple language?

Working of Ciliary Muscles :

Ciliary muscles increases the focal length that is the size of the eye lens and will become small when we are seeing the distant objects and it decreases the focal length that is our eye lens will become large when we are seeing the near by objects.
