  1. A body is said to be under a perfect translatory motion when the object moves such that all the particles in the object move parallel to each other in a straight line.
  2. If an object is undergoing translatory motion, we can note that there is no change in the orientation of the object.
  3. Translatory motion is also known as translational motion.
  4. Example: a car moving in a straight line.
