What is transpiration and how does it occur?

Solution
Transpiration:
The roots of a normal plant, including the ones present in a landscape, draw water from the soil.
Then, the water is utilized for physiologic and metabolic processes.
The plant's stomata, which are tiny, closeable pores on the surface of the leaves, eventually release the water to the atmosphere as vapour.
Transpiration is the collective term for this water intake at the roots, water transport through plant tissues, and vapour emission by leaves.
Additionally, soil near the plant evaporates water directly into the atmosphere.
