Tropism:

1. Tropism is defined as the growing movement of plants in response to a stimulus.
2. The whole organ of a plant can move either towards or away from the stimuli such as light, gravity, and touch.
3. If the movement is towards the direction of stimuli, it is known as positive tropism while movement away from stimuli, is known as negative tropism.
