Solution

Explanation: 2 Marks

When a beam of light strikes the minute particles of earth’s atmosphere, suspended particles of dust and molecules in air scatter the beam of light and it becomes visible. The phenomenon of scattering of light by the colloidal particle gives rise to Tyndall Effect.
Tyndall effect is itself the phenomenon of scattering of a beam light after getting deviated or reflected from particles of sizes larger or comparable to the size of wavelength of light.
