What is uniform motion?

Open in App
Solution

A body is said to have a uniform motion if it travels equal distances in equal intervals of time, no matter how small or long these intervals may be. Example: A vehicle running at a constant speed of 10m/s, will cover equal distances of 10metres every second, so its motion will be uniform.Another eg: The second's hand of a clock undergoes uniform motion since it covers the exact same distance in each and every second
