what is vapour pressure., how is it related with boiling point?
i read as low boiling point = highest vapour pressure .how??

Dear User,
Vapour pressure is the pressure exerted by the vapours above the liquid surface in equilibrium with the liquid at a given temperature.
Boiling point of a liquid is the temperature at which its vapour pressure becomes equal to atmospheric pressure.
If a solution has high vapour pressure then on increasing the temperature it will quickly become equal to the atmospheric pressure at low range of temperature, or we can say that its boiling point will be less.
