Vegetative Propagation:

  1. Vegetative propagation is a type of asexual reproduction in which new individual develops from the vegetative parts of the plant.
  2. In this mode of reproduction, the new plant develops from the vegetative structures like the roots, stems and leaves.

Bryophyllum:

  1. Bryophyllum is a herbaceous plant which reproduces through vegetative propagation.
  2. Adventitious buds develop from the leaf margin of the bryophyllum which finally forms plantlets.
  3. As the leaves fall on the ground, the plantlets develop into new plants.
