Open in App
Solution

Vegetative reproduction is a form of asexual reproduction occurring in plants in which a new plant grows from the vegetative parts of the plants like leaves, stems, roots, etc.
In this type, multicellular structures detach from the parent and develop into new individuals that are genetically identical to the parent plant.
For example, propagation by potato tuber and Bryophyllum leaf buds.
