Solution
Water cycle:
It is a process by which the water moves between the different spheres.
Oceans, land, and atmosphere consist of water precipitation in the form of streams, rivers, snow, rain, etc.
Precipitation is further followed by evaporation and transpiration of water.
The water cycle has three main steps as a process.
Process of the water cycle:
Evaporation: It is the process in which the water is evaporated into the atmosphere from the surface of the earth.
Transpiration: Transpiration of water is mainly from plants which are also known as evapotranspiration.
Precipitation: When the atmosphere collects enough water and the water falls back on the surface of the earth is known as precipitation.
