In the members of phylum Echinodermata, a system of water circulation exists, in which sea water enters the body through the madreporite and after circulating through a definite route, leaves the body through the tube feet. It is known as water vascular system. This system helps the animal in locomotion, respiration, and excretion of waste materials.
