Dear Student,
Wein's displacement law- It is defined for radiation.The Wien's displacement law describes one of the relations between the emission spectrum of a black body and its temperature.
λ max T = b,
where ,
λ max = maximum wavelength of radiation,
T= temperature of body
b = 2.90 * 10-3 mK
At high temperature value of maximum wavelength of radiation is low and vice-versa i.e that the higher the temperature, the lower the wavelength λ max for which the radiation curve reaches its maximum.
