What kind of a person is Mme Loisel — why is she always unhappy?

Mme Loisel was the kind of person who had enough but was not satisfied with it. She always thought she was born for all delicacies and luxuries but through an error of destiny she happened to be born into a family of clerks. Instead of being loved and married by a rich distinguished person, she got married to a clerk in the office. As a result she suffered from poverty in her apartment and the shabby walls and worn chairs angered her.
