A case can be filed in a State Commission in the following two conditions:

(i) Where the value of goods or services and compensation claimed is more than Rs. 20 lakhs but not more than Rs. 100 lakhs.

(ii) Any appeals against the orders of any District Forum, within 30 days of the passing of the order.
