What kind of clothes shouldn't be worn in kitchen and laboratories

In kitchen Wearing of synthetic clothes is danger. Since synthetic clothes catches fire easily and melt on heating.These are produced by man by chemicals.Synthetic fibres like Polyester catches fire very easily and melts. After melting It sticks to the body of the person wearing it causing severe burns.So, it is advised to wear cotton clothes or apron while cooking in kitchen and while working in laboratory



Avoid wearing the following items to laboratories:
  • Contact lenses
  • Tank tops or cropped shirts
  • Mesh shirts
  • Shorts or skirts that do not cover your knees when you are sitting
  • Sandles, flip-flops, or other shoes that do not completely cover your feet. Sandles with socks is not considered appropriate attire.
