Solution

Water cycle:

The water cycle is the system that involves the continuous movement of water from the earth to the atmosphere and the atmosphere to the earth and vice versa.

The energy conservation to sustain the water cycle in nature -

  1. Evaporation is the primary process where water from the earth(in a liquid state) moves back to the atmosphere (as water vapor forms).
  2. Whereas condensation is the process in which the vapor forms of water become liquid and results in the formation of clouds.
  3. After evaporation and condensation, the water falls into the earth in the form of rain, snow, etc, and this water is collected in different water bodies.
