The tropical regions get plenty of rainfall and has generally a hot climate because of its location around the equator, because of continuos warmth and rain this region supports wide variety of plants and animals. As the climatic conditions in rainforests are highly suitable for supporting a number and variety of animals, there is intense competition for food and shelter. Animals mostly feeds on fruits. Some of them also eat seeds, young leaves, flowers, buds, stems etc.
