Question

What kind of particles will be found in a liquid compound which is a non-electrolyte?

Solution

  1. Non-electrolytes are compounds or species which does not conduct electricity since they cannot form ions.
  2. Non-electrolytes are all covalent molecules that are, they are not ionic or polar compounds so they cannot form ions upon dissociation.
  3. These compounds may or not be soluble in water if they are soluble it contains molecules only no ions or any other particles will not be found.
  4. The common examples of no-electrolyte are Sugar, Urea, Kerosene, etc.
  5. Kerosene is the liquid non-electrolyte and it contains only the molecules of kerosene.
  6. So the particles present in the liquid non-electrolyte are the molecules only.
