Solution
Volvox:
Volvox is a type of freshwater green algae.
They are found in colonies.
Their cells are highly organized. Hence their thallus is coenobium.
Volvox has highly differentiated colonies.
It is spherical in shape and each colony has 500-50,000 cells.
Volvox is a chlorophyte green algae.
Each individual is attached to one another through the cytoplasmic strands.
They have cup-shaped chloroplasts on the base of their flagella.
Therefore, volvox has a coenobium thallus.
