Dear student,
The conflict between the Bengal Nawab and the East India Company started when the Nawabas were refused any concessions. They also demanded rights to trade. In addition, they were not allowed any rights to mint coins. According to Benagal Nawabs the company deceited them and deprived them of the large amount of revenue that they could have earned.
On the other hand, the Company also had compalianta against the Nawabs. According to them the Nawabs had unfair demands with regard to trade.
