What makes the writer think that he was a good doctor?

Open in App
Solution

A dear old family physician from whom the narrator brought his practice, trusted him at his very first interview. The narrator's patients seemed to like him- not only the well off old ladies who did not have anything wrong with them but also the working class people who actually needed him. His patients liked his cheerful bedside manner This made him think that he 'wasn't a bad doctor'.
