An alloy is that substance that involves the presence of more than one metal or combination of a metal with other non-metallic elements.
Examples of alloys are brass, solder, and bronze.
Tuning fork:
It is a two-prolonged metal fork which is used to tune instruments.
It is made up of an alloy of Nickel, steel and Chromium known as Elinvar.
Elinvar is used to make tuning forks because its elasticity does not change.
