What may happen on the earth in the absence of photosynthesis?

Open in App
Solution

Photosynthesis is the process by which plants make their own food in the presence of sunlight, carbon-dioxide present in air, water, minerals, and chlorophyll present in leaves.

1. In the absence of photosynthesis, plants cannot synthesize food.

2. This causes an imbalance in the environment.

3. The plants will not produce oxygen and then no animal life will be able to survive due to the absence of oxygen.

4. We will not get oxygen, food, and life on this planet will not be possible.
