Solution

Dear student,
Bolshevik took some measures to do away with private property. The Decree on land was passed in the year 1917 by the Second Congress of Soviets of Workers', Soldiers', and Peasants' Deputies which was written by Vladimir Lenin. According to this decree, monasteries, lands of the nobility, churches were seized by the peasants. Without any compensation, there was the abolition of landed proprietorship. Hence, all the private ownership of land was abolished where selling of land, purchasing or giving it for lease or mortgage was banned. Thus the land was distributed maintaining equality.
