Solution

Dear Student,

Cultural conflicts are bound to happen in places where marriages are considered sacred unions and castes play a big role in deciding suitable partner. The author throws light on how the elders can be contriving and manipulating when it comes to deciding the perfect partner. The younger generation has broken the shackles of the old-age beliefs and superstitions and have come to take such important decisions, not based on caste, or appearance, but on more reasonable grounds like compatibility and rapport. This is where the young and the old minds differ and a common ground for decision making has to be developed.
