  3. It is transmitted by Anopheles mosquitoes.
  4. Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax are the most common types of malarial parasites.
  5. Sporozoites of Plasmodium are there in the saliva of mosquitoes.

Symptoms:

  1. Shaking chills
  2. High fever
  3. Profuse sweating
  4. Headache
  5. Nausea
  6. Vomiting

Treatment for malaria:

Chloroquine is the preferred treatment for malaria that is sensitive to the drug.
