What must be the length of the nichrome wire of resistance 4.5(ohm) if length of a similar wire is 60 cm and resistance 2.5(ohm)?

Solution

if length of wire = 60 cm
the resistance = 2.5 ohum
relation = 25/6 ohm/m
so the length of wire of 4.5 resistance = 4.5/25/6
= 1.08 m
