Open in App
Solution

Let the number that should be subtracted be x.

According to the question:

5-x=1513

5-x=1813

x=51-1813

To find the required value we have to take L.C.M of the denominator.

The L.C.M of 1 and 13=13

x=5×131×13-1813

=65-1813=4713=3813.

Hence, the required number is 3813.
