In this reversible reaction, a proton or H+ gets transferred from NH+4 to H2O. Thus, they form NH3 and H3O+, after the proton is transferred from NH+4 to H2O. Because after the removal of proton, NH+4 forms NH3, and Addition of that proton to H2O forms H3O+.
