What part of revolution have you turned through if you stand facing West and turn clockwise to face East.

Find the part of revolution for given conditions:

In one complete revolution, we revolve by 360° either we revolve clockwise or anticlockwise.

Each two adjacent directions are perpendicular to each other, i.e., they are at an angle of 90°

Let us suppose a man is standing facing West and then he turns clockwise to face East.

In this process, he turns 2 right angles, i.e., 2×90°=180°

So, part of revolution he has turned =180°360°

=12

Hence, the required part of revolution is 12.
