He further says that they will have a feast and mask party that night. There Don Pedro will disguise himself as Claudio and confide to Hero the secrets of his heart and obtain her consent by the intensity, strength, and presentation of the account of his love. Then Hero's father will be informed of this budding relationship and Hero will eventually become his wife.
