What precaution must be taken for preparing the Plaster of Paris ?

Plaster of paris is hydrated calcium sulphate . prepared by heating gypsum at 120⁰C

The necessary precaution is that the temperature should be maintained because if the temperature varies it adversly affects the setting property of plaster of Paris
