Solution

Dear Student,

At higher altitude or hill station their is decrease in atmospheric pressure due to which equilibrium between vapor pressure and atmospheric pressure is obtained early and boiling point of water decreases or lowers from 100 to around near 85-90 ºC and vegetables didn't get much time for cooking and hence it takes longer time to cook food.
