The procedure that we performed to observe Lactobacillus bacterium to be observed in the laboratory is:

• First, we take some warm milk in a bowl then we add a small amount of curd into it and keep it in an area slightly warmer.

• Then leave it for some time.

• Then after the curd is formed dilute it and then we stain the bacteria by methylene blue or safranin to see the bacteria as it is colorless.

• Then we prepare the slide and observed the bacteria under a microscope.

The bacteria are rod-shaped or cocci shaped.
