Solution

I have simplified.
Please be patient to read the entire solution. It is easy understand.

Blood contain both useful and harmful substances. When the blood reaches kidney the useful substances are absorbed back into the blood and the waste dissolved in water are removed as urine.

Process in detail step by step :
Blood flows to the kidney through the renal artery. In the kidney the blood flows through a series of smaller and smaller arteriesbto the glomerulus.
The glomerulus filters blood and creates a filtrate of the blood or "urine".
This urine then flows through a series of progressively bigger tubules and ducts to the renal pelvis.
At this point urine exits the kidney, it enters the ureter (long tube connecting kidney and bladder), and flows into the bladder where it is held until one desires to urinate.
