In May 1943, FDR created the Office of War Mobilization (OWM) to coordinate America’s mobilization efforts during WWII
Explanation :
It was meant to replce the War Production Board which was seen as not efficient enough. Resources for the war had to be maximized. Thanks to it industrial production linked to war rose considerably.
