Open in App
Solution

The judiciary plays a major role in implementing of constitutional provisions and procedures as it has the supreme court at apex. The supreme court holds the original jurisdiction to settle any dispute between the union (central government) and states.
It also administers both the union and state laws, so that in case of any dispute about the division of powers, the high court and the supreme court are empowered to pass the necessary orders and give directions.
