1. During the French Revolution, women threw away their routine life as a mother and wife, and extended their hands into the chaotic world of ongoing revolutionary politics.
2. They participated in major events that sparked French Revolution such as the attack on the Bastille etc
​​​​​​3. Women activists like Olympe de Gouges, fought for the equal rights for women in voting and gaining political rights
4. Due to these prolonged efforts, after the French Revolution certain laws were passed which made laws related to marriage, and schools were set up for educating girls
