We know that,
Surface area of cuboid
=2(lb+bh+lh)
Where,
l=length
b=breadth
h=height

Given that,
dimension of cuboid is
=2 m× 3 m×4 m
5% additional area is used to make the box.

Now,
Surface area of 10 boxes
=10×Surface area of 1 box
=10×2(2×3+3×4+4×2)
=520 m2

5% of the area of 10 boxes
=5100×520
=26 m2

Total area used to make boxes is =26+520=546 m2

Thus, cost of production of 10 boxes
=4×546
= 2,184
