what's the difference b/w MYXEDEMA and GOITER ? diff in their cause ?

Myxedema occurs in adult due to hypothyroidism whereas goiter means enlargement of thyroid gland this is due to hypothyroidism (deficiency of iodine in diet or presence of anti thyroid drugs etc or genetic)
