What's the difference between alien DNA and foreign DNA?

A DNA molecule that is incorporated into either a cloning vector or a chromosomal site. A DNA which is other than the host cell is called foreign DNA.
There is no alien DNA. But Alien gene is termed as that a gene transferred to the cultivated species from another related or unrelated species
