The grade compensation of B.G. track allowed = 0.04% per degree curve
Compensation for 3ocurve=0.04×3=0.12%
Whereas ruling gradient provided = 1 in 250 = 0.4%
Actual ruling gradient to be used = 0.4 - 0.12 = 28%

=0.28100=1(100/0.28)= 1 in 357
