Kranz anatomy :
C4 plants have Kranz anatomy in their leaves. In kranz anatomy, bundle sheath cells are surrounded by the cluster of mesophyll cells in a wreath (ring) like manner.
Advantages of Kranz anatomy :
As photosynthesis takes place, CO2 will be consumed and oxygen will be generated, and eventually, the concentration of CO2 will reduce. However, because of Kranz's anatomy, the CO2 levels around RubisCO in bundle sheath cells will always be more and it will continue to fix carbon dioxide and not give rise to photorespiration.
